EverHint Signal — EMA10 × EMA30 Crossover — December 03, 2025
What This Signal Is (Quick)
The EMA10 × EMA30 crossover is a classic momentum signal built on two exponential moving averages. When the 10-day EMA crosses above the 30-day EMA, short-term price strength overtakes the medium-term trend; when it crosses below, momentum is rolling over and can flag exhaustion or the start of a deeper pullback.
For this scan, a buy signal fires when EMA(10) closes the day above EMA(30). A sell signal fires when EMA(10) closes the day below EMA(30). Fresh crossovers only: yesterday the lines were on the opposite side, today they have flipped. This makes it a short-to-medium term swing tool with a typical 1–4 week holding window, not a day-trading system.
Because both lines are exponential, they react faster than their simple-moving-average cousins. That means you get earlier entries but also more noise and potential whipsaws in sideways markets. Treat this as an experimental scanner for idea generation and back-testing, not as an auto-pilot trading system.
How We Ranked Today (Reader Version)
Today’s list starts from the raw EMA10 × EMA30 crossovers and then layers in:
- RSI(14) as the primary ranking metric. For buy signals, lower RSI means more oversold and potentially more room to rebound. For sell signals, higher RSI means more extended and potentially more room to the downside.
- Liquidity filters via average dollar volume, so thin, hard-to-trade names don’t dominate the list.
- Insider flow overlays, where recent open-market purchases or sales by executives and directors are rolled up into a single net dollar figure per ticker.
- Earnings proximity overlays, showing how many days remain until the next scheduled earnings report.
Everything shown here is based on publicly available market data, corporate filings, and news. Signals are for educational use and research only – a starting point for your own due diligence and historical testing, not trade recommendations.

These names have just seen their 10-day EMA cross up through the 30-day EMA on the latest close. They are ranked from lowest to highest RSI(14), so the top rows are the ones where short-term momentum is turning up from relatively cooler levels.

Field notes:
- Last ($) is the latest closing price on the crossover date.
- RSI(14) helps you see whether the move is kicking off from oversold, neutral, or already-hot territory.
- Insider Net (USD) aggregates 90 days of open-market insider buying and selling; positive values suggest net buying, negative values suggest net selling; a dash means no meaningful open-market activity detected.
- Days → Earnings counts calendar days until the next scheduled earnings report; single-digit values flag names sitting close to an event window, where gap risk is higher.

Field notes:
- For some traders, these are exit candidates after a prior uptrend; for others, they are watchlist entries for potential short setups or put structures if other conditions align.
- A high RSI with a new downside crossover can mark the early phase of a deeper mean reversion move.
- As with the buy side, insider net and earnings countdown help you understand who has been trading their own stock and how close the next volatility catalyst might be.

Field Notes and Strategy Context
RSI and trend context – An EMA10 × EMA30 crossover has more weight when price is also holding above the 200-day moving average and RSI is in a constructive range (roughly 40–65). Extended RSIs above ~70 into a fresh buy crossover can still work, but they tend to be late-stage moves with less favorable reward-to-risk.
Sector rotation – Because the scan covers all sectors, you can use today’s lists as a quick rotation map. Clusters of buy signals in one sector alongside sell signals in another often flag money rotating under the surface even when the broad indices look calm.
Event risk – Tick names with single-digit “Days → Earnings” with extra caution. Crossover signals that fire right before earnings can whipsaw violently on the report, regardless of how clean the chart looked the day before.
Position sizing and risk – Treat each signal as one tile in a larger mosaic. Many traders will:
(a) start with partial positions,
(b) add only if the move confirms in their favor, and
(c) keep hard max loss limits per trade and per day or week.
The more aggressive the environment, the more important strict sizing and exit rules become.
Vlad’s Take (EverHint)
Today's market backdrop: S&P 500 0.52%, Nasdaq 0.59%, Dow 1.09%, and Russell 2000 1.72%. Small-caps led with the strongest move, which is typically a risk-on tell.
The VIX closed near 16.1, down 2.13%, signaling a normal-to-low volatility regime rather than panic.
Bitcoin added 2.39% and Ethereum gained 5.15%, while the 10-year yield hovered around 4.06% with only a tiny daily change.
Net read: this is a cautiously risk-on environment where a crossover strategy like EMA10 × EMA30 can have room to work, but it is still wise to stay selective. Focus on liquid names, respect nearby earnings dates, and consider scaling in with staggered entries instead of going all-in on a single print.
